Lead Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

📍 Remote within the Netherlands | Full-time | Occasional travel to Nijmegen

We're looking for an experienced Lead Ruby Engineer to mentor a team of 3–6 engineers while remaining hands-on in developing and improving a modern SaaS platform.

What you'll do:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of Software Engineers.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical interviews.
• Contribute to architecture and product decisions.
• Develop full-stack features and maintain a high-quality codebase.

Tech Stack:

Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, RSpec, Capybara, REST APIs.

What we're looking for:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Ruby on Rails expertise.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, TDD, MVC frameworks, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Scrum.
• Fluent English (C1+).
